This 1965 Mustang coupe has been fully restored and is an outstanding example of one of the most popular Ford models ever built. A binder of receipts and photos is furnished that provides an extensive record of the restoration process. This Mustang coupe is said to have spent time in classic car museum after the restoration. The sound body was thoroughly evaluated and new metal panels were added where any damage was found. It was then carefully prepped and resprayed original Ivy Green (R-code), a professional 2-stage process that is in excellent condition. Chrome/stainless are in very good condition and factory 14" steel wheels w/full wheel covers mount nearly new UniRoyal Tiger Paw w/w radials. A custom cover is also provided for the car. The Palomino vinyl interior (code 29) has been fully restored and is virtually showroom. Upholstery, dash, carpeting, door cards and headliner are all excellent. The coupe is equipped with Vintage Air A/C, tinted windows and AM/FM sound system. The power train is Ford's bulletproof 'Mileage Maker' 200ci 'T-code' straight-six. It was rebuilt in 2008 and sits in a clean engine compartment. Power is delivered through a C4 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission (6-code) to an open differential w/2.83:1 gearing. The spotless chassis is fitted with manual steering, 4-wheel power drum brakes w/dual master cylinder and new fuel tank. The exhaust system has also been upgraded to include dual outlet pipes.
