wanted to introduce a middle of the road model to bridge the gap
between their standard and luxury line. The De Luxe debuted
offering several different trim levels to appeal to the masses.

door options. The one you don't see as often is the Phaeton trim
level. The Phaeton to be a lighter faster model sedan to appeal to
families but offered that extra power you wanted. Here we have a
'39 model and a convertible. The maroon paint looks sharp and the
tan soft top contrasts well. The grey leather seats look
comfortable and are in good order. Under the hood the original
motor is long gone and been replaced by a rebuilt 350ci V8 and is
rocking a rebuilt automatic transmission. The odometer shows 2700
miles and that is since the restoration. Current owner has had her
for over a year, acquired from a local owner. She is titled as a
