For Sale: 1941 American LaFrance Fire Engine in Cadillac, Michigan
1941 American LaFrance fire truck, originally delivered to Hobart
IN. 491 CID V12 engine. Manual transmission. Body is in great shape
and the truck runs and drives nicely(in the yard, I haven't driven
on road) It is in original condition with minimal rust. At some
point the pump was removed and the top of the water tank was cut
off. Needs to have charging system work. (I was planning on
changing it from a positive ground and adding an alternator). The
1941 American LaFrance 500 series is a very unique and rare "fleet
side" firetruck - meaning there are no external box quarter panel
like that of a passenger vehicle. All equipment was stowed inside
of the body and it features a large pull out tray in the center of
the rear floor. (Tray is not in the pictures but I do have it) This
would make an awesome custom truck or parade vehicle. The Truck is
24' long, 7' tall, and 7'4" wide and weighs 11,000 lbs. I also have
the front round pulls that are missing in the front picture. Please
