Description:
This 1975 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible is finished in dark
red over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 1.6-liter
flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Features
include a replacement black soft top, 15? aftermarket wheels, front
disc brakes, a Holley carburetor, an aftermarket muffler, an EMPI
shifter, a center console, and a Pioneer CD stereo. The car
previously resided in Maryland before its recent acquisition by the
selling dealer in Florida, and a fluid service was carried out in
anticipation of the sale.
The body was refinished in its current shade of dark red under
previous ownership, at which time it was fitted with a replacement
black soft top. Additional features include dual side mirrors, a
single polished exhaust outlet on an aftermarket muffler, and
bright bumpers and running boards with black trim. Corrosion is
noted on the underside of the rear bumper, and rust bubbles are
visible on the rear quarter panels. Aftermarket 15? wheels are
wrapped in 165/80 Kuhmo 771 radial tires. KYB rear shocks are
fitted, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The front bucket seats and the rear bench seat were reupholstered
in black vinyl under previous ownership, while woodgrain trim
accents the color-coordinated dashboard. Features include a center
console, an EMPI shifter, a heater, and a Pioneer CD stereo with
aftermarket speakers. A cell phone mount is affixed to the top of
the dashboard.
The air-cooled 1.6-liter flat-four features a replacement Holley
carburetor with an aftermarket air filter, and aftermarket engine
compartment insulation has also been added.
