Vehicle Description
1957 Fairlane 500 Is the cream of the crop that came with that
single-headlight front end like their predecessors and the
unmistakable tail-fins. A plethora of S.S. trim lines was
introduced with this "Fairlane 500'. We decoded this classic car
vin: D7LV188542. It has matching numbers from the engine to the
drive train. And get this, it has survived the $29.95 Earl Scheib
paint jobs. Now we can say it has the original Henry Ford paint,
with a clear coat over the patina, that turns heads all day long.
Now let's talk about the engine, it has the original Thunderbird
Special 312 cubic inch V8 rated at 275 hp. Having the Thunderbird
Special 312 came with the Thunderbird valve covers from the
factory. Most car guys will always notice this special feature and
tell you their story of who, what, when and how! This model was
very successful, being the best selling car in America, overtaking
arch rival Chevrolet for the first time since 1935. This car was
built at the Long Beach Ford plant, making it a true Southern
California car. This car comes with new glass as of now, 6-pieces
of side glass for both sides and the windshield with a new rubber
seal. The car has new upholstery front and rear door panels and
