that just arrived in our showroom - this stunning 1984 Mustang SVO.
Dressed in Dark Charcoal Metallic (1984 color only!), this Mustang
excites the eye with its unique 3 year only design. The SVO-only
front grill, hood, fog lamps, and rear bi-plane spoiler really set
this car apart from other Fox-bodies. This Mustang sits atop it's
original 5 lug Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle Sport
tires. Stepping inside, you'll quickly notice the comfortable
leather seats matched by a leather wrapped steering wheel, shift
knob, and e-brake handle. One look at the dash and you'll see why
this car still looks so incredible - it has just 18,036 Actual
Miles on the odometer! The interior amenities don't stop here
though, other features include ice-cold factory air, power windows
and locks, premium AM/FM-cassette sound system with amplifier,
tinted glass, split-fold rear seat, power-assisted rack and pinion
steering, and pop-up sunroof. The interior is in excellent
condition with only light wear on the drivers bolster to show
someone ever sat in it. Out on the road this pony proves much more
exciting to drive than the standard Mustang of its day. The power
comes from a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder intercooled turbo-charged engine
with a 5-speed manual Borg-Warner transmission and Hurst shifter
sending power to the limited-slip traction-lock axle. Power is no
good without handling and the SVO is on it's game in this arena.
Ford put an all-new Koni suspension system on the SVO with
adjustable front struts, rear shocks, and horizontal rear dampers.
Stopping power is delivered by ventilated power disc brakes on all
corners. With only 9,835 SVO's produced over their three year run,
this car presents a rare chance to capture a whole lot of fast 80's
fun with a ton of life left to go!
