Vehicle Description
1969 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 4-SPEED TRANS, GROUND-UP
RESTORATION! This 1969 Chevelle really stands out from all of the
rest with its factory color, code 10 Tuxedo Black. The body is
straight from every angle and the fit and finish is excellent. The
paint is very smooth and glossy. The white SS side stripes really
stand out against the black paint. The front bumper, grill bezels,
SS emblems, door handles, mirrors and lenses have all been
replaced. In the back there are all new trim and emblems. The rear
bumper looks new. It has all new weather seals. This Chevelle sits
on a set of SS wheels with BFG T/A radials. The engine compartment
is nicely detailed with a period-correct 396 ci/350 hp motor that
has a few performance upgrades. Those upgrades include an aluminum
Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley dual feed carburetor, HEI
ignition (for reliability), chrome valve covers and air cleaner. It
also features power steering and power front disc brakes. It is
nicely painted in a satin black finish. The beautiful Parchment
interior has been completely re-done from the carpet to the
headliner. The bucket seats have new upholstery, cushions and
chrome trim. There are new sill plates, door panels and armrests,
newer window cranks and door handles. The dash looks good sporting
its factory tach and gauge cluster and upgraded stereo system. The
4-speed console is in good shape. It also has front and rear
seatbelts. The undercarriage is all clean metal. There are new
front suspension and steering components. Looking up at the motor
it is very clean and so is the Muncie 4-speed transmission. That
throaty rumble comes from a 2.5" dual exhaust system that runs out
the back with the correct tips. It features a 12 bolt 3:73 posi
rear end. It has a newer gas tank and straps. The E-brake assembly
is complete and working. The condition, colors and features of this
Chevelle make it one of the HOTTEST cars around!
