GM STYLING TRIUMPHFRESHLY DETAILED AND SERVICED Countering
fast-growing Mercedes-Benz sales in North America and the expansion
of archrival Lincolns model range during the early 1970s, Cadillac
began the development of a new 'International' sized car in 1973,
based on the newly redesigned X-Body Nova. Launched in May 1975,
the resulting Seville remains one of the most attractive designs
under GM Styling chief Bill Mitchell. A four-door, vinyl-roof sedan
was the sole Seville model offered and the only options offered on
these highly equipped cars were a power sunroof and a choice of
sound systems. The driveline included Oldsmobiles 350 CI V-8,
upgraded with a Cadillac intake manifold and Bendix electronic fuel
injection, driving a GM Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission.
Priced in line with Cadillacs senior models, the limited-production
Seville enjoyed strong buyer demand. Updates during the 1975-79
first-series Seville production run included choice styling and
chassis tweaks. High-profile product placements included use on TVs
popular Rockford Files and Charlie's Angels. Handsomely finished in
White over Medium Crimson leather upholstery, this wonderfully
maintained and presented survivor retains all original paint and
interior. Offered with under 36K actual miles, this top-quality
Seville is powered by a 180-horsepower 5.7L V-8 engine, paired with
a Turbo-Hydramatic 375 3-speed automatic transmission derived from
the Turbo-Hydramatic 400. Features and amenities are numerous,
including Climate Control air conditioning, AM/FM radio, power
front seats with armrests, tilt steering, a rear-window defogger,
and a remote rearview mirror. Power-assisted features include
4-wheel disc brakes, door locks, steering, and windows. A full-size
spare wheel/tire is correctly housed within the fully carpeted
trunk compartment, along with a roadside jack and lug wrench.
Wire-spoke hubcaps and Whitewall tires finish it off. Documents
include an owners manual. Freshly detailed and serviced, this
wonderful survivor is an excellent example throughout, ready to
collect and enjoy. Contact us for viewing arrangements, full
