Vehicle Description
Right here is something you don't see every day! This 1967 Ford
Fairlane is something special, a factory-built hot rod with a 390
C.I. V8 and a 4-barrel carburetor allowing for all the power you
need. In 1967, the muscle car horsepower wars among the American
manufacturers was just starting to heat up. As a consequence,
optional increases in engine size were found up and down each
manufacturer's model lineups. For instance, Ford's midsize
offering, the Fairlane, was offered with an optional 390 C.I. V8
putting out much more power than the base model's inline-six
cylinder engine. As stated, this Fairlane was one of the few
ordered from the factory with a Z-Code 390 C.I. fire-breathing V8
equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor. Torque gets to the pavement
through a smooth-shifting 3-speed automatic transmission, providing
for good throttle response and output. The exterior tan paint
shines beautifully in the sun, and the matching brown vinyl
interior is very comfortable with its bench seats and options such
as power steering and air conditioning. Features on this fantastic
Ford include power steering, air conditioning, an AM radio, a
heater, vent windows, and a dual exhaust system. The car rides on
some chrome Ford knock-off wheels on top of some classic B.F.
Goodrich RWL tires. With an engine like this 390, this Fairlane
definitely won't last long in the showroom. We want to make sure
that you're behind the wheel when it goes.
