The Jensen Interceptors Were Built At The Kelvin Way Factory In
West Bromwich, England. The Interceptor Name Was Earlier Used By
Jensen Motors Between 1950 And 1957 During Which Period The Cars
Were Built At The Carters Green Factory. In The 1950's, Jensen
Still Used Plastic For The Fabrication Of Body Panels, The Jensen
Interceptor Was Made Of Steel.
The Body Was Not Developed In-House But Designed By Carrozzeria
Touring in Italy.
This Jensen Interceptor Convertible Was Built In March 1976; The
Factory Stopped The Production In May 1976.
Production Of The Interceptor Convertible Was From 1973 To 1976
With A Total Of 456 Units Built. The Introduction Of The
Convertible Debuted At The Geneva Motor Show.
Current Owner Purchased This Car From The Original Owners Estate In
Scottsdale Arizona With Very Low Miles, After He Purchased This
Rare Interceptor, The Arizona Sun Was Not Good To Factory Paint
Work And Leather Interior, At That Point He Decided To Completely
Repaint Of This Accident And Rust Free Vehicle Along With
Replacement Of Front Bucket Seats With New Fresh Leather
Upholstery.
Powering The Car Was A Mopar 440 ci V-8 Engine That Produced 385
Horsepower.
