original, collector quality, 1969 Chevrolet Caprice for world
consideration. The car was purchased new on October 22, 1968 from
H.B. Chevrolet, inc. of Flushing, NY. It came dressed in Garnet Red
exterior paint with Black Vinyl roof over a highly optioned black
interior. It is powered by its 327 CID / 235 HP engine, 3 speed
Turbo Hydra-matic transmission and transmission. Factory options
included: Power windows, strato back front seats with fold down
armrest, power steering, power brakes, 4 season air conditioning,
door edge guards, Posi-traction Axle with 273 gear ratio, AM/FM
stereo, Astro Ventilation, Hide-Away-Wipers, electric clock, bright
pedal trim, lighter, courtesy lights, wheel opening moldings,
adjustable head rests, front and rear guards, and fender
skirts.
The car has been properly held in a private collection since nearly
new until acquired by our client in the spring of 2021. The
odometer reads just 19646 miles, these miles are said to be and
believed to be original. The car remains in nearly completely
original to include most, if not all its original paint, all
original interior, original sheet metal, original glass, trim,
trinkets, etc.. The car has had some recent mechanical work to
included carb rebuild, rear brakes replaced, oil and fluids. The
car has been driven in touring events by its current owner with
approximately 3000 miles logged under his ownership.
Cars are only original once, and a car that has been preserved to
such a high caliber are very few and very far between. A
