Vehicle Description
This 1986 Jeep CJ7 has an ideal all-around attitude. There's a
distinct color theme and nice polished details, but nothing ever
gets taken too seriously so you can't enjoy this 4x4 to the
fullest. In fact, there are newer investments in the lift,
bushings, lighting, top, and more that give this a stylish and
useful overall presentation.
The deep blue paint is a modern upgrade with a nice metallic
element embedded in it for added brilliance. You'll see that the
overall finish and total presentation are driver-quality. For many
of us, that's a good thing because it means a driver-ready Jeep. So
you look good rolling through town on a sunny Sunday, but you also
won't hesitate to take the "shortcut" to the lake. Of course, we
know the real shine comes from brightwork pieces such as chrome
bumpers, grille, and bright side mirrors. There is more brightness
from functional pieces, like rocker trim with side steps, crystal
clear headlights, and auxiliary LED lights on the front bumper. We
also like how this has a touch of darkness with the Renegade-style
fender flares, tinted windows in the newer tan soft top, and an
awesome set of black Fuel wheels.
This CJ has the complete soft top and doors to button up nicely,
but we all know it's much nicer to be open to the world. So this
one also makes sure it's ready for open-top fun. That means nice
updates like newer seat covers done in weather-resistant vinyl, and
the floor is fully done in liner paint. There are thoughtful
details like a lockbox center console, cup holders, shoulder
seatbelts on the roll bar, and modern AM/FM/CD stereo with USB
input to plug in your phone. And while this one Is updated, you
still get that classic CJ driving feeling like the tall shifter,
stock steering wheel, and classic Jeep central readouts.
Jeep's six-cylinder motors are true torque kings, and so it's great
to have the 4.0-liter inline-six under the hood. You'll spot good
maintenance and more recent investment, including a Champion
aluminum radiator, a CRT Performance distributor, newer hoses, a
newer alternator, upgraded valve covers, and more. So it remains a
stout powerhouse, and the four-speed manual transmission gives you
proper control no matter if you're on the street or trail. It has
good anytime driving features like power steering, power brakes,
front discs, and newer bushings. And when the pavement ends, the
Big Foot off-road tires, newer shackle lift, newer Skyjacker Hydro
7000 shocks/stabilizer kit, and two-speed 4x4 transfer case combine
to deliver that true Jeep go-anywhere prowess.
Capable, distinct, and affordable - this CJ7 really checks all the
right boxes. So don't let a complete package like this slip away.
