1953 GMC 5-Window Pickup finished in Fire Engine Red. This 1/2ton truck has no dents, solid body, cab corners ,no rust on body. The truck bed is a steel plate, original 1953 wood, in rough shape under the plate (remove it and install your own wood bed).
Powered by the 228 ci Inline 6 cylinder under the hood that is paired up with a manual transmission, 3 Speed on the column. 4 new Firestone tires, chrome GMC hubcaps and chrome wheel rims. Runs smooth as a Singer Sewing Machine (as everyone that sees it running with the hood up will tell you). All new green tinted windows and rubber glass seals all around. I have the rear bumper (removed when photo was taken) Interior appears to have been left stock with the exception of an auxiliary blinker system on the column. All lights work and 12 volt system now. Deer/Tan vinyl bench seat interior. Seat shows its age with heavy wear on the driver's side. Riding NEW Firestone 16" tires. Starter button is on the floor next to the accelerator pedal . Upgraded to 12 volt electrical system. Odometer doesn't move, we cannot prove or deny to be actual, speedometer not working. Frame has rust. Absolutely NO ISSUES with engine, transmission, or other mechanical issues to report, starts right up, shifts smoothly in all gears.
It's a 1953 farm truck, gear ratio only allows 50mph top highway speed. Drive this truck as it is, or take this to the next level!
NOTE: This is a GMC is every way BUT the tailgate... original owner before me put a Chevrolet gate on it, easy enough to get a GMC tailgate on it later when it is YOURS.
