Vehicle Description
Cruisin Classics is pleased to offer to you today this 1935
Chevrolet Coupe. This Coupe has fiberglass fenders and running
boards mated to a steel body with what we believe is a 2" chop. The
black paint looks great from 5 feet, but closer examination will
show some rock chips, spider-webbing, cracks, and a couple of
bubbles - it's what we would call driver quality. The front grill
with the Chevrolet emblem is flanked by chrome headlights and both
look great. The door handles have been shaved, providing a very
clean look. Though the doors are not operated by poppers, there is
a hidden window control switch on the exterior of both sides of the
car - allowing it to be secured. At the rear of the car, you'll
find flared chrome exhaust tips and a power antenna. This Chevy
sits on Weld Racing wheels wrapped in Kumho Solus R21 tires with a
staggered stance (P235 75 R15's on the rear and P185 70 R14's on
the front). The exposed 454ci big block V-8 engine is definitely
the focal point of the car. It has a 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor
topped with a velocity stack and air cleaner, chrome valve covers
with the Chevrolet logo, a front-runner pulley system, and headers
to dual exhaust. Though there is an aftermarket A/C compressor, it
is not hooked up and we do not know if it works. The engine is
paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission with a column shift
and a 10-bolt rear end. While in the engine bay, you'll also notice
that this coupe has power brakes (disc/drum) and power rack pinion
steering. Inside this coupe is a purple custom interior with
comfortable cloth bucket seats. The door panels, kick panels, and
headliner is all done in the same purple theme and are in good
condition. The carpet is black and purple floormats have been
added. The dash is painted black and houses working VDO
vintage-style gauges. The driver is treated to a leather-wrapped
4-spoke Lecarra steering wheel mounted to a tilt-column. The
dash-mounted HVAC controls operate a strong blowing fan, but there
is no heat or A/C. Mounted to the ceiling is a JVC AM/FM/Cassette
stereo connected to Sony 6X9 speakers. Just to the rear of the
stereo are two individually operated dome lights. The trunk has
been finished to match the interior of the car and houses the
battery and a car cover. Show-quality 35 Coupes are going for big
money these days, but this driver-quality example offers all the
same fun at a mere fraction of the cost. It surely won't last long,
so give our friendly staff a call today.
