1969 Chevrolet Camaro - SS Tribute - 350ci V8 - Automatic
Transmission - Blue Over Black Interior - 37k Miles Shown True
Mileage Unknown As a direct competitor to Ford's Mustang, the
Chevrolet Camaro was a response to the start of the pony car wars
of the mid to late 1960s. Sharing a platform with its General
Motors sibling the Pontiac Firebird, the Camaro provided a variety
of model options from basic coupe to high-performance models.
Debuting in 1966 for the 1967 model year and with production
lasting until 1969, the first-generation Camaro has remained not
only a popular muscle car but a true automotive symbol. Presented
here is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Tribute. Sporting a bright blue
paint with iconic SS striping, this Camaro is sharp, sporty, and
classic. The exterior finishes present well with no visible signs
of wear. The striping is clear and straight, enhancing the timeless
lines of this body design. The chrome bumpers and window trim shine
beautifully with no pitting. The SS rally wheels offset the overall
look and provide a muscular stance. Under the hood is a 350ci V8
that has been paired with an automatic transmission. The engine
compartment shows very cleanly and has been accented with just a
touch of chrome with the air cleaner and valve covers. With
features like power brakes and power steering, we can imagine that
this Camaro is a pleasure to drive. The undercarriage and frame are
clean with age-appropriate signs of wear. No large areas of rust or
points of concern are evident. The solid black vinyl interior has
aged gracefully and shows very little indication of use. The front
buckets include headrests. There are minimal woodgrain accents on
both the dash and center console. A previous owner has modernized
this Camaro to include a Pioneer stereo complete with CD. There is
a slight crack on the back most portion of the center console that
should be noted as well. Noted as a tribute to the ever-popular
Camaro SS, this vehicle is a quality example of this automotive
icon. With many attributes that make the SS popular, this is a
great chance for any collector to enjoy the performance of the SS
without the potentially high price tag. Observed as the muse for
the newer production models of the Chevrolet Camaro, there is no
debate that this generation of the Camaro is timeless through and
through. Please call if interested or e-mail with specific
questions. Thanks for looking.
