$29,000 is the no-haggle price. It is priced to sell and it will sell for $29,000. Sorry but I'm not interested in trading. 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle. Please note: This is NOT A SUPER SPORT. The VIN is 135177B173387. Has a 396 big block V8, Turbo 350 automatic transmission and 10 bolt rear end. Manual steering and manual brakes, drum brakes front and rear. No A/C, no heater, no radio. This is not a real Super Sport. This is a SS clone or SS tribute - whichever term you prefer to use for a non SS car that's had SS badges put on it. The engine is a JA suffix code 396 big block (325hp from a 1969 Chevelle), with factory-style chrome valve covers and 14x3 chrome air cleaner. Has the correct SS hood (steel aftermarket), SS396 grille emblem, SS396 tail panel emblem, Super Sport quarter panel emblems, 396 fender emblems, SS horn cap and Super Sport dash emblem. Interior has the correct factory bucket seats and center console with floor shifter. Ceramic coated headers, large diameter exhaust (no tailpipes) and Flowmaster mufflers. Aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The body is very straight and solid - no rust. The floors have been replaced, new one piece floor from firewall to back seat, rocker to rocker. New one piece trunk floor. It is nice underneath (see pics). No rust. This car has been repainted in Butternut Yellow about a year or so ago, it was originally Royal Plum from the factory (paint code M). The paint is slick and looks very good, no bubbling, no orange peel, it's nice. The weatherstripping, chrome trim, emblems and bumpers all appear to have been replaced when the car was repainted. The factory black (code 763) interior is in good condition overall - no rips or tears. Seats and door panels look good. Dash pad and carpet is new. It does need a headliner. Trunk looks great and is coated with the correct black/aqua Spatter paint. Has a brand new set of 15" Torque Thrust D wheels and new white letter tires. The tires and wheels have maybe 50 miles on them. Runs good, no fluid leaks detected. Drives straight down the highway but the steering wheel is off center. Stops straight and the drum brakes stop just fine (brakes were recently gone through). I have not driven this on any long distance trips, it might be just fine but I'm not recommending that you jump in it and drive it 8 hours home. I have driven it around town and a little bit on the highway. The rear end gears are around 3.73 I'm guessing. The oil pressure is 50 cold and 30 hot at idle. Temp stays around 190 when fully warmed up. It does need a few things repaired (turn signals, windshield wipers, horn) - I priced the car with that in mind. The 5 digit odometer reads 28,788 (true mileage is not known) the speedometer does not work. For those that care - this car was built at the Baltimore plant during the 3rd week of April, 1967.
