This is 1 of 5 Street legal COPO Camaros built and assembled by
none other than Turn Key Automotive - the same company who is
licensed to build the Track COPO's for GM. This COPO was built in
2014 and completed using a new-used 2010 Camaro. From there it was
completely stripped down and all COPO components added. This Camaro
has never been raced and only has 138 road driven miles. This COPO
is capable of mid 9 second quarter mile on the track!
EXTERIOR: Completely repainted at the time of the build. Finished
in the gorgeous Blue Ray Metallic color. It has COPO graphics down
the side. That recognizable COPO cowl hood. It comes on COPO
exclusive Bogart wheels wrapped in street radial Mickey Thompsons.
It does come with a set of weld wheels with drag radials for the
rear if you want to use this for track.
INTERIOR: The interior has been thinned out to reduce weight. It
still has the factory carpet, dash, and door panels. The speakers
and radio have been deleted as well as the normal HVAC system. This
does have a lightweight vintage Air/Heat kit installed in working
order. This has a NHRA drag rated full roll cage, COPO racing
bucket seats. There's a single windshield wiper, both side mirrors,
and working turn signals and horn installed for street driving. The
electric cutoffs are on a toggle switch by the vintage air. The
COPO gauges are all on the dash with toggle switches for fuel
pressure, lights, ignition, fans, and your start button. Overall,
the interior is in amazing shape and still smells like new.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood you'll find a very impressive
sight. This engine is an Edelbrock LS3 Supercharged and stroked to
416 ci. It's producing 700+HP and can reach much more with a
retune. The engine is mated to a Th400 Coan built trans that uses a
hurst quarter stick for shifting. The engine bay is immaculate and
quite the sight to see.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk has been gutted and does not have the
factory carpeting. Instead, you'll find a bigger 15 gallon fuel
cell tank so you don't run out of gas while driving, two batteries
tied in nicely to a battery cutoff switch, and a voltage gauge.
Everything is also in close to new condition.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath is spotless! This has Strange S-Track 4 link
axle suspension, 3" stainless steel exhaust all the way to the rear
of the car with magna flow mufflers and Corsa tips. Located just
before are electronic controlled exhaust dumps that you can open
and close with the flip of a switch. This has a Strange solid rear
axle with a streetable gear ratio. The suspension consists of
Strange 4 wheel disc brakes and Strange fully adjustable coilover
struts/shocks. There are wheelie bars and a parachute mount
installed as well. The actual parachute was not included but can be
ordered from COPO Direct.
A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am
offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen
are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your
questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a
walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you
will be given a 1 year membership.
