Buick offered the Stage 1 option for their GS line-up which came with the high performance 455ci 4bbl V8 motor, different instrumentation specific for the Stage 1 models, a heavy duty radiator, a heavy duty energizer, and posi-traction performance axle. These vehicles were rated 345 horsepower which is plenty enough to have some fun on the road.

Finished in the original color of Burnished Cinnamon with an accenting white vinyl top, the exterior appearance is stunning from every angle. In addition to the Stage 1 option, this example was ordered with seemingly countless other options. Exterior options included custom vinyl roof covering and rear quarter belt molding, soft ray tinted glass, and through bumper exhaust extensions. The upgraded suspension package 'Rally Firm Ride and Handling' was installed and included heavy duty suspension components, springs, and wheels.

The Custom Trim interior package included vinyl strato bucket seats, rear compartment courtesy lamps, rear custom seat back, and a wood grain instrument panel ornamentation.
