Now for sale is an all steel 1931 Ford Model A 5-Window, rumble seat Coupe. Discovered in 2014, this car is a true barn find. Stored in Suffield, CT since the late 1960’s, scroll through the photos to see the car when it was first removed from the barn!
A frame off restoration and paint were completed in 2016. The Black, Red and Gold paint are in excellent condition and the car is show ready. The gold trim is painted with genuine gold leaf! The interior and rumble seat were also re-upholstered at that time and show like new.
The drivetrain is powered by a refreshed period-correct L-Head 4-cylinder and 3-speed manual transmission. The car runs very soundly and can be seen touring around New England on fair weather weekends.
The stainless steel headlamps have been converted to LED Bulbs as well as the ‘31 standard 1 rear brake light. The points and voltage regulator were updated to the likes of a ‘65 Mustang.
