For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro in North Las Vegas, Nevada

Vehicle Description

OVERVIEW

This modified 1967 Chevrolet Camaro two-door hardtop draws power from a new Chevrolet LS364/450 6.0-liter V8 crate engine paired with a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end. Upgrades include a Flowmaster exhaust system, 17-inch Foose wheels, and a Kenwood audio system. Under the hood, the motor has received LS3 rectangular-port cylinder heads, a Holley Frostbite LS Swap Radiator with an electric fan setup, and more. Finished in dark purple over a black cloth and vinyl interior, this first-year Camaro is now offered with build receipts, aftermarket parts manuals, and a clear Nevada title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

Under prior ownership, this reportedly rust-free Camaro hardtop was repainted dark purple in 2014. Equipment includes a custom grille, a cowl hood, chrome bumpers, a Ridetech custom gas cap and filler neck, RS-trim taillights, and a rear spoiler. The seller notes that the paint shows some imperfections upon close inspection.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Five-spoke 17-inch Foose wheels are wrapped in Toyo Extensa HP II tires, sized 235/45 up front and 275/40 in the rear.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit is equipped with black cloth bucket seats with Morris three-point seat belts up front, a black vinyl bench in the rear, and matching newer door panels and carpeting. Features include a fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro center console, power windows, a MOMO Competition steering wheel on a tilt column, an upgraded radio with Kenwood speakers, Modo Innovations pedal covers, and a Hinson Motorsports short-throw shifter with a Twist Machine adjustable billet handle. The car was rewired with an American Autowire Classic Update kit and fitted with Dynamat sound-damping material.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

AutoMeter Pro-Comp instrumentation is set within a carbon fiber bezel and includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 10K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 600 miles, reflecting the mileage on the transplanted engine.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The new Chevrolet LS364/450 6.0-liter V8 crate engine is surrounded by an engine bay with a smoothed firewall. Upgrades to the powertrain, drivetrain, and other systems include LS3 rectangular-port cylinder heads and intake manifold setup, a Corvette accessory drive kit, a Holley Frostbite LS Swap Radiator with an electric fan setup, a Performance Systems Integration (PSI) engine harness and powertrain control module, a Monster Clutch Company clutch, an adjustable master cylinder, a Flowmaster 2.5-inch exhaust system, an Inland Empire Driveline driveshaft, and an EFI fuel tank with fuel injection supply lines. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a stage 2 Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt Positraction rear end with 3.73 gearing.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping comes from disc brakes, Wilwood calipers, a Wilwood master cylinder, and drilled and slotted rotors. The suspension has been upgraded with Speedtech Performance upper and lower control arms, Hotchkis front and rear springs and shocks, a sway bar, and a Turn One 12:1 quick-ratio steering box.
