The “tri-five” series is one of the most sought-after classics in the market today. Many are kept in original condition; however, trends have moved towards resto-mods and pro-street versions of the car. This is a great example of a very popular segment, keeping its exterior looking primarily stock while adding performance upgrades. This 57 was built keeping with tradition, the old hot rod styling, with a 283 cubic inch motor and Hurst shifter.
The exterior of the car has a custom paint with flake in it and is showing some age including some scratches and a few small bubbling spots from rust on the lower door and a very small crease in the fender. The body trim is fully intact and shows some pitting and normal signs of use. The exterior is a good driver quality condition. The interior is clean and has a period correct bench seat, the interior has been well maintained and only shows lights signs of aging.
This is a true hot rod with the right engine with Hurst shifter combo, the fully intact trim and the overall appearance of the vehicle complement the rumble form the exhaust! All the glass is in good condition as well and the car ran strong!
