An instant collector's car; top grade with only 9,638 actual miles!
The '85 Grand National was the lowest production year coming in at
only 2,102 ordered in total. The Grand National package only cost
$675 originally! It's not every day you find a low mileage example
like this! This car came out of a collection and is one of the best
GN's we've had to offer! This car is documented and ready to
exchange hands to its new owner!
EXTERIOR: You can have it in any color as long as it's black. The
paint shines nicely and is mostly original. We do have documents
that the hood and trunk lid were repainted for warranty work in
1985. The rest of the paint appears to be original. Overall, it's
in great condition. The Grand National was offered with 15"
aluminum wheels with black inserts, which are in excellent
condition and still wrapped in the original tires!
INTERIOR: The interior looks immaculate and smells like new.
There's even plastic wrap still covering parts of the dash trim.
This Grand National was equipped with power interior, soft ray
tinted glass, cruise control, tilt steering, and Delco-GM radio.
The gray and black two-tone cloth seats are in excellent shape and
even the original headliner is in great shape and not sagging. The
1985's came with the Lear-Siegler interior.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood you'll find the 3.8L turbo V6.
It is mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission. The engine bay is
in pristine condition! This Grand National starts up and drives
without any hiccups! '85 GN's were considered the 1st year model
that later started the intercooler GN's. The 1985 Grand National
had only 200 HP which was upgraded in the later years.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk is all original and in very clean
condition. The original spray liner looks great; the trunk mat is
original and in great shape. Even the spare tire, jack, and tools
are original and in the same great condition. This is one solid
Grand National through and through.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath is very clean. This was opted with the
limited slip differential, performance suspension, dual
stainless-steel exhaust, and power brakes! This truly is a very
nice example that you do not want to miss out on!
A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am
offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen
are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your
questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a
walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that
car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and
you will be given a 1 year membership.
