Possibly the most recognizable car every produced, it is lusted
after around the world. The air-cooled Porsche 911's evolution from
its first model year in 1965 until its demise in 1998 made for a
great legacy. Although they all shared similar body styling cues,
the understructure of the cars differed greatly. They showed us the
passion for perfection that only German engineers aspire for and
demand. At the start of the 1995 model year, the final version of
this infamous air-cooled Porsche 911 would make its appearance.
We are very excited to offer this very well-kept 1996 Porsche 911
Carrera Coupe finished in Polar Silver Metallic with Flamenco Red
Leather interior. This Carrera 2 is powered by its naturally
aspirated 3.6L Flat 6-cylinder air cooled engine producing a sporty
282 horsepower and 250 lb. ft. of torque mated to a 4-speed
Tiptronic automatic transmission. Features include fog lamps, power
windows & heated mirrors, Porsche floormats, AM/FM cassette player
with trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer, dual exhaust, ABS vented disc
brakes, power sunroof, power extendable rear spoiler, tinted
windows, and 18" turbo-look wheels with tires measuring 225/40ZR18
in the front and 265/35ZR18 in the rear.
This Porsche sold new from Steve Clifford Motors in Provo, Utah
with its first owner titling it in Wyoming, then selling 4 years
later in 2000 with around 34,000 miles on the odometer. It would
make its way to the Littleton, Colorado area with the second owner
who kept it for 13 years before selling it with approximately
62,500 miles on the odometer. While in his care, this Porsche was
serviced regularly at Stevenson Imports which is the local Colorado
Porsche dealership in the Denver region, including the 60K
Scheduled Maintenance at 61,589 miles. When it traded hands in 2013
with a new owner, also a Colorado resident, it was driven sparingly
in dry weather and serviced regularly at Porsche of Colorado
Springs until it was sold in 2019 with only 65,000 miles. That is
when it made its way to a new central Missouri owner also bought
this beautiful Porsche to enjoy as a fair weather, weekend
investment. It is only being offered today because another Porsche
has been purchased to replace this one.
It's easy to see this Porsche has been properly cared for over the
years before coming into our showroom. According to the clean,
accident free CarFax report, it has been serviced routinely with an
brake fluid flush in 2013 and alternator replacement in 2014. More
recently, it received new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in January
2022 along with a new battery November 2022. This Porsche 911 comes
with its original owner's manual, copy of window sticker, factory
paint touch-up kit, space saving spare tire, complete tool kit, and
original Porsche air compressor all stored nicely in the front
trunk with the plastic tire bag and service gloves.
This 911 Carrera now shows 66,812 miles with the exterior paint
showing some normal wear conducive to the mileage, while the
interior shows exceptionally well without any major wear noted on
any surfaces. The windows have been tinted. These 993-series and
proven to be a safe investment option as they are always sought
after by Porsche enthusiasts and car collectors. Thank you for your
interest and please contact sales for additional information or
schedule a visit to our showroom for a closer look!
