Vehicle Description
This 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau is an excellent classic that
has only averaged about 950 miles annually! It makes for a
fantastic triple-red survivor with a numbers-matching V8.
The Mahogany paint is the original factory application. It has a
complete and glossy look with just the right look of age to be able
to tell this car's survivor story properly. There are nice details
here, too, like the vinyl roof in a coordinating red and even the
door rub strips coordinate. Monte Carlos were all about elegance,
and these second-gen cars understood how to convey it in the
details. The headlights create a style line that tapers off into
the hood; the chrome bumpers follow the car's form; the flare of
the fenders extend into the door line to pay tribute to the grand
touring cars that came 30 years before it. So not only will you
love this Chevy for its preservation, but also its true
sophistication, too.
The interior completes the triple-red package (paint, roof, and
interior.) This likes to keep a stock style, so some details show
their age. There also have been some excellent investments to keep
this a fresher cruiser, like updated velour seats. But there's an
attention to detail you'll love, with not even a button missing
from the two wide benches. Slipping behind the wheel feels like
right down to the burled walnut applique and the 8-track AM/FM
radio that's cranking out tunes. There's even CB radio that comes
with the sale. Even with this level of preserved vintage, we
wouldn't be surprised if you do decide to add miles to the low
odometer. After all, the dash likes to envelop the driver in this
personal luxury cruiser. You can even service the factory air
conditioning to get it blowing nice and cold again.
The engine bay looks exceptionally authentic, and you'll love
telling people this is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. Low
mileage and a well-respected life mean this one fires up nicely. It
also keeps its easy-cruising attitude with great driving features
like power steering, power brakes, front discs, the
numbers-matching three-speed automatic transmission, and sway bars
front & rear.
Complete with the owner's manual, this is arguably one of the most
intricate Chevy designs of the post-war era. So to find it so well
preserved and presented in triple-red makes for an irresistible
classic. Call now!
