This stunning 76 Trans Am is one of the nicest we have ever come
across. The quality and workmanship of the restoration is over the
top. The underside of the car is just as impressive as the top
side. Most all nuts and bolts replaced with stainless, poly
performance bushings throughout, new stainless fuel and brake line
perfectly routed through chassis, subframe and suspension has been
powder coated gun metal gray. The 455 (WX code) has been rebuilt
from top to bottom and is now pushing right over 400hp (have
complete breakdown of new engine components and machine work
involved). Borg-Warner Super 10 transmission has also been fully
rebuilt along with the rear axle which houses a new Auburn posi
unit, 3.23 Richmond gear and disc brakes. All gauges work properly
including the clock and air conditioning works great. The black two
stage paint is show quality with a deep consistent shine throughout
the car, mirror finish everywhere. All new interior and new
scalloped dash along with all new gauges were installed. Everything
on the car works as it should and the trans-am is an absolute blast
to drive, pulls strong through all four gears. We also have all the
PHS documentation, original bill of sale, original build sheet, tag
receipts, bank records, cancelled checks, insurance forms, etc...
and restoration receipts.
