Vehicle will be sold with clean and clear South Carolina title.Have you seen our rare and very attractive Lancia Flavia Sport Zagato 1800? Initially the Flavia was only available as a 4-door with an aluminium 1500 Boxer engine. This was shortly followed by the Pininfarina designed short-base 2-door coupe. The convertible came from Vignale, whilst Zagato took charge of the design for the lightweight Sport version.Our car is a unique Lancia with bodywork by Zagato. Her aluminium bodywork has wonderful stylistic characteristics such as the rear panoramic side windows, the convex front side windows, the panoramic front window screen and the opening convex rear window. Only 626 Zagato's were made of which only 512 had the 1800 engine.Our Lancia Flavia Zagato, which left the factory in 1966, is in very good condition. She drives fantastic and she is a real head turner. She was extensively overhauled by Vere Lancia about twenty years ago and her body was extensively restored. A lot of her bad sheet metal was replaced, the doors were reconstructed, new reinforced sills and A-pillars were welded in and the floor of the trunk was renewed. Overall, her fine bodywork has good quality and well-fitting body panels. All decorative elements are in good order and the fine interior has been correctly looked after. This Zagato is in fine working order and drives perfectly. The upholstery of the interior was renewed. Now black leather. She also comes with a set of original steel wheels and the unrestored front and rear bumpers.The engine is original. Very well maintained and equipped with two twin Weber carburettors. The gearbox is also original, it shifts excellently. This is a very special Italian classic, scarce and highly sought after. She was also used for the Gaisbergrennen (regularity) where she came second overall.You have to come and admire this exclusive Lancia with its rare Zagato bodywork!
