This 1949 Willys Jeep is the first SUV Crossover and is a custom one of a kind show truck. These were produced for three years only and just 2,960 produced for 1949. Originally from Florida the Jeep had a complete frame off restoration completed in 2013. It is equipped with a 350ci V8 engine and turbo 400 transmission with working optional overdrive. Additional equipment and options include correct convertible top with side curtains, correct working gauges, replated chrome bumpers, new correct seats, carpet and door panels, correct ivory steering wheel and horn button, correct dual side steps on both rear fenders, correct convertible top boot cover, new correct working signals and 5 new wide white wall radials with correct hubcaps. Designed by Brooks Stevens; this Jeep has been an award winner at the past 3 shows and it runs and drives great.
