STK 3378 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring RestoMod
Introduced in 1967, the Gen 1 Camaro was an instant success story,
one that continues to this day. Some say it is the most appealing
Chevrolet to ever roll off the line. By 1969 the designers at GM
had the look for this first-generation Camaro figured to
perfection.
This stunning 1969 Camaro is a masterpiece - fully restored over a
six-year period and built to run. It is a very unique piece of GM
history. The House of Kolor Orion Silver Max finish is exceptional.
Accents include Z-28 trim/hood/rear spoiler, outstanding
chrome/stainless, black Z/28 accent stripes and Digitail LED rear
lighting. Handsome HRE 300 alloy wheels mount 18" Pirelli P-Zero
performance radials. A beautifully appointed black/grey interior
incorporates high-end vinyl/cloth Deluxe Houndstooth upholstery,
Vintage Air, VHX dash w/Dakota gauges, VHX console, tilt wheel,
tinted windows and AM/FM sound system. A new American Autowire
harness has also been installed.
Horsepower is furnished by a new Chevy LS3 crate motor that resides
in an extraordinary engine compartment. The aluminum 6.2L engine is
controlled by a GM Engine Management system and the owner estimates
horsepower to be 525bhp. Exhaust is routed through Headman Hustler
headers to a 3.0" stainless exhaust with Magna Flow mufflers.
Cooling is managed by an HD aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans
and a premium battery has been relocated to the rear. The LS3 is
backed by a T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual gearbox managed by a RAM
hydraulic clutch. Torque is delivered to a GM 12-bolt posi-traction
differential with Moser axles and 4.11:1 gears. The spotless
chassis, finished in Galaxy Gray, is equipped with power steering
and Baer power disc brakes with Wilwood tandem master, Hydro Boost
brake booster and stainless steel lines. Ventilated discs are 13"
front and 12" rear. The front suspension is fitted with Detroit
Speed A-Arms and the rear suspension is a precisely engineered
4-link package. A Rock Valley stainless fuel tank with in-tank pump
and stainless fuel lines has also been installed. There was never,
ever an 'Option Code' on Chevy's 1969 order form for this Camaro -
it is one-of-a-kind and is going to make its new owner very, very
proud. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
