A woody makes a fantastic cruiser, and a custom build with all the
best upgrades makes one irresistible. So look over the real wood,
slick paint, bright style, leather interior, cold A/C, four-wheel
disc brakes, overdrive transmission, and fuel-injected V8 that all
make this 1951 Ford Woody Wagon your new favorite all-around
classic.
When you want a cool-looking custom, this is the place to start.
You get the awesome style of a two-door wagon made even more
distinctive by the bright wood on the body. That glossy real lumber
is a true craftsman's touch, and so you know that's what's first
going to grab people's attention. But it also doesn't take much to
recognize this is a full custom build. The dark blue paint is a
modern application with an outstanding shine. And since they
removed most of the trim on the metal parts, it has a smooth flow
that shows off the curves of the body. Like any good 1950s classic,
this one has plenty of chrome leading the way. That's why you have
the large front bumper and intricate grille doubled down on the
previous year's bullet-nose style. And the Cragar wheels add to
both the shine and sporty style.
The interior has nicely done leather seats that have plenty of
individual bolstering and even a fold-down armrest up front. A
smooth dash, good headliner, and quality carpeting make for a nice
atmosphere. And we like the wood side panels that return inside
with nice details like the working courtesy lights. There are nice
features to make this a good driver, like cold-blowing air
conditioning, a Bluetooth speaker system, and all that cargo space
in the back. A power front seat, tilt steering column, and grippy
sports steering wheel get this car road-trip ready.
It's nice to see a Ford get upgraded in the engine bay, while still
keeping the power in the blue oval family. In fact, they gave it a
full blue paint package under the hood for a show-worthy sense of
style. At the heart is Ford's 351 cubic-inch V8 with electronic
fuel injection. It's a nice powerhouse that lets you take advantage
of the full build. This has a four-speed automatic transmission
with overdrive, power steering, a tubular A-arm front suspension,
and four-wheel power disc brakes.
This is the custom Ford that has the great driving features to
prove it's much more than just a car built to pick up show
trophies. So if you want a stunner and a cruiser, don't miss this
woody. Call now!
