Here we have a 1968 Chevrolet Impala SS for sale. This car is a
stunning example of a high-quality big block Super Sport Impala. It
was bought new in Grand Saline, Texas and spent most of its life in
the Midwest and is showing just over 61K miles on it which is
believed to be original to the car. This Impala has a ton of
desirable options ranging from Big Block, Four Speed, Air
Conditioning, Tach, Power Steering and Power Brakes. In the
paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the
exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Chevy but first we would
like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of this Super Sport. The body
on it is one of the best you will every find. All the body lines
flow seamlessly from front to back and you'll notice that the gaps
at the doors, hood, and trunk are all even and symmetrical. It's
showcased by the Palamino Ivory paint that is the factory option
for it. The paint has a stunning finish that's slick as a ribbon
and accented by the Black Vinyl Top which is also the factory
option. Down the sides it has the body moldings along with having
the lower rocker molding as well. Up front we can see that the
bumper has a gorgeous finish and that it has the front bumpers
guards. The grill is also beautiful along with the headlight
bezels. Out back the rear bumper is equally nice along with all the
taillight lenses, and you'll also notice it still has the original
dealership emblem on the trunk. All the glass in this Impala is
stunning and all the seals and weather stripping is in great
condition. The side glass all goes up and down with ease and has a
great fit. To finish off the stance it's sitting on a set of 15x8
Rally's with Red Line Tires, Beauty Rings, and Flat Centers.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '68. On the inside it's
done in the factory color scheme and trim option. It has the bench
seat option with the split bucket backs. Both the front and rear
seat covers and in phenomenal condition along with all the padding
and springs. Also, the front and rear panels are in great condition
and the hardware is all in beautiful as well. Looking at the dash
we can see that the pad is in excellent shape and that everything
looks correct. This Impala comes equipped with factory Air
Conditioning along with having the optioned 8 Track Player. All the
gauges are in great condition, and we can see it comes with the
in-dash tach as well. This '68 has tilt wheel and its set up with
the custom grip wheel. The Four Speed shifter is featuring the
floor mounted Hurst Set up. All the carpet and headliner have a
great fit and look to be very well cared for. Inside the trunk is
rock solid from the jams to the pan. It's detailed out in the
factory splatter paint and has the trunk mat along with spare and
jack.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the
hood it's powered by the 396 Big Block Chevrolet engine that has
the T1117IA stamping. It's set up with the Four Barrel Intake and
Quadrajet Carb. This 396 is dressed in the factory style air
cleaner and valve covers. It's setup with factory Air Conditioning
while also having Power Steering and Power Brakes. The engine bay
of this '68 is in excellent condition and looks like it belongs on
a showroom floor in '68. It still has the factory style smog pump
and is kept cool by the Harrison Radiator with Clutch Fan. You
couldn't ask for a cleaner or may factory appearing set up. The 396
Engine is mated to the Muncie Four Speed Transmission and the 12
Bolt Rear End with the DD suffix which designates a 3.31 Gear. When
we look under this Impala, we can see that all the floor pans are
rock solid and in phenomenal condition from front to back. The
frame is all solid as well and shows no signs of abuse. The
suspension is all in great condition as well and we can see it has
both the front and rear sway bars. For exhaust it has manifolds
with new pipes and flow master Mufflers. On the highway this is a
sweet running and driving Chevy as it shifts out with ease while
