Why Is This Car Special
The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile which was produced
by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1978 model
years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-Body platform, the
Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates.
1969 Chevelle SS's are regarded as a must have in any serious
muscle car collection and the restored 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
Yenko Tribute we have at Skyway Classics is one that you can enjoy
that won't set you back and arm and a leg.
Yenko Chevrolet was a Chevrolet dealership in Canonsburg,
Pennsylvania that was best known for selling customized muscle cars
in the late 1960s. Referred to today as "Yenkos," they are among
the most collectible 1960s vehicles. Yenko transplanted Chevrolet's
427 cubic inch- 425 horsepower L-72 engines along with other
high-performance parts and created the Yenko Camaro and Yenko
Chevelle. These Yenkos go for over six figures if you can find one
for sale.
