Vehicle Description
This 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS Tribute has a great all-red
presentation, solid V8 power, four-on-the-floor, and some cool
SS-style upgrades. It all comes together for an iconic hardtop
classic that loves to cruise.
Bright red paint is always the right choice for a cool classic
coupe. And while the restoration is a little older than others out
there, it still retains a good gloss in the sunshine to show off
the pillarless hardtop profile. There are some signs of enjoyment,
because after all, this is out to be a driver's classic. But the
solid look of the body panels gives an impression of a
well-respected coupe. Of course, brightwork was king in the 1960s,
and thankfully, it all appears brilliant on this coupe. It includes
the chrome bumpers, a full-width shiny grille, and full-length trim
with a machine-tuned insert. Plus, it's not an Impala without its
hallmark three-taillight arrangement. You even have some nice
upgrades with the polished dual exhaust tips and the Cragar wheels
with raised white letter tires. It's a total package that fits the
stature of a rolling icon.
There's more red waiting for you on the inside. And the hardtop
means it's easy to roll down all the windows and share this
red-blooded American style with the world. The fundamentals like
carpeting, door panels, and dash have a clean look of good care.
Plus, the seats look great with a correct-style pattern, and the
front is power adjustable! There are even fun details like the
working Delco AM radio. So you get the feeling of a true vintage
machine when you slip behind the classic dual-spoke steering wheel.
But as you grab the Hurst shifter and spot the tach mounted on the
steering column, you also get the feeling like this was done to be
a proper cruiser, too.
Under the hood is a period-correct 327 cubic-inch V8. The bold
orange block and bright air grabber radiate from within all the
clean black components to give this a well-kept look. The V8 is
topped with Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor with electric choke
for a good mix of power and steadfastness. The motor runs smoothly,
the four-speed shifts crisply, and there's a sweet tune out of the
dual exhaust. As you look over the full package, you'll also see
the stuff you love for a great driver. This includes power
steering, upgraded CPP power brakes, and front discs. The
suspension even has a nice solid investment with newer pieces like
the front arms, rear trailing arms, bushings, ball joints, coils,
and shocks.
This is a full red Impala with an exhaust note that gets your
enthusiast's heart pumping. So if you love a memorable hardtop
cruiser, don't miss this deal. Call today!!!
