this is a 30-year-old time capsule! This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500SL
is finished in Signal Red over Brown leather and is powered by a
5.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.
Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, 16? alloy wheels,
fog lights, automatic climate control, a deployable roll bar, a
Becker Grand Prix cassette stereo, and power accessories. The
seller acquired the car in 2021 and has since added approximately
500 miles of the 68k miles. Additional equipment includes fog
lights, headlight wipers, painted mirror caps, fender air vents, an
automatic antenna, heat-insulating glass, and dual exhaust outlets.
Front and rear bumpers have been repainted. Factory 16? alloy
wheels were replaced with a set of 18' factory AMG wheels. Service
under current ownership is said to have included replacement of the
wheels/tires, brake booster, master cylinder. The cabin features
power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in Palomino leather with
matching door panels and carpeting. Interior amenities include
automatic climate control, cruise control, a deployable roll bar, a
Becker Grand Prix cassette stereo, and power accessories. The
seller notes that the air-conditioning system was recharged, and
the driver's seat bolster is worn. A leather-wrapped airbag
steering wheel replacement of the shifter linkage bushings, fuel
accumulator, blower motor and regulator, fan, serpentine belt, belt
tensioner, filters, and ignition components as well as fluid and
oil changes.
