1972 LeMans Sport convertible. 350 V8 automatic transmission This
is a running project car. In 1972 Pontiac did not make a GTO
convertible. They made a LeMans Sport convertible. This is a rare
car. Lots of new parts and lots of restoration has been done. The
shop that I had lined up to finish the car is booked up till next
summer, so I have decided to sell it. Would make someone a great
winter project. The engine is a 350 V8 has an original GTO air
cleaner and runs genuinely nice. It is automatic on the floor with
console. The car does drive around the lot and stops. You will need
to trailer the car as the rear bumper and taillights are not
installed. Also, headlights and front turn signals need to be
installed. Front seats are beautifully restored. The new carpet,
the back seat is nice, and it has nice inside door panels. New rear
bumper and taillights. Top is nice with a glass back window. I have
an extra passenger side door. I do not know if the power top works.
No juice to the switch. Power steering. Power brake, disc front.
Nice and solid frame. The floors look good. The car was undercoated
many years ago and you can see some of the undercoat peeling off in
places. Trunk is nice. The car has a Maaco paint job and was not
prepared right. In my opinion, the paint needs redone, and bodywork
done. This car done right is an exceedingly rare and valuable car.
Just noticed the odometer does not work. May just need to be hooked
up. I have many new parts. Some are shown in pics. The cowl tag
decodes as original yellow with black top and black interior bucket
seats. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our
