This is a genuine Super Sport. 2 owner car! It lived in Southern
California until the 2nd owner bought it in 2017. We have a binder
of fun documentation. Interesting pictures from 1963 and again in
1993 in the same location with the same owner. It also had a photo
shoot with a young Sarah Jessica Parker. It was used in a clothing
catalog too. The 1st owner passed away and the car was put in long
term storage. The 2nd owner bought this rust free car and spent
$45,000 on all the upgrades. Everything from a bigger motor and
trans to Vintage Air, power steering and power disc brakes.
EXTERIOR: Rust free original metal body. Its straight, no damage.
Very dry clean metal. Repainted 1 time in its original color. It is
very presentable but not a high end show paint. The metal flake is
uniform, clear coat is polished glossy. It has optional bumper
guards, dual antenna, chrome locking Chevy gas cap and dual bow tie
mirrors. The chrome and trim are good original. Chrome Torque
Thrust wheels-14x6s in front, 14x7s in back with BFG tires. It's a
white top in great shape. The hydraulic rams and pump were replaced
for the power top. Upgraded halo LED headlights.
INTERIOR: Overall very good original condition. A set of new carpet
would really dress up the interior. Door panels, seat upholstery
and optional padded dash look great. Upgraded Dakota Digital
gauges, retro stereo in the factory hole, a/c vents were neatly
added. The automatic is disguised as a 4-speed with a 4-speed shift
handle and console. It has seat belts front and back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The original 6 cylinder was yanked and replaced
with a performance built 350! Complete engine rebuild, bored 30
over and balanced. It has a hot cam, aluminum intake with a Holley
Terminator Stealth Fuel Injection and Sniper ignition. Ceramic
coated long tube headers. The front of the motor is decked out with
billet brackets and pulleys with serpentine belt system. The a/c
compressor is polished, chrome alternator, water pump and timing
cover. It has power steering with a remote reservoir. Chrome power
brake system. Big aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It has
an Optima gel battery with a billet hold down. Clean metal engine
Bay painted smooth semi-gloss black. Unique Nova under hood
panel.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid original metal with gray spatter finish.
Several extras are included including a tub of awards and misc., a
retro stereo and matching fold up table.
UNDERSIDE: It has really dry, clean original metal. Seriously, the
metal is dry as a chalkboard! The front end steering and suspension
was completely rebuilt. Coil over shocks in back. All new fuel
system with high pressure braided lines. Upgraded with front disc
brakes, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Great sounding Flowmaster
dual exhaust with stainless tips. Looking up at the motor it's
spotless. Moroso oil pan and a high torque starter. Turbo 350
automatic transmission with a remote oil cooler. 12 bolt rear end
with a Moser 5 lug conversion kit.
This car just keeps giving! I keep finding more accessories and
features. The binders of documentation keeps delivering an
interesting history. This SS is special!
