1970 BUICK SKYLARK GSX CLONE 70 BUICK SKYLARK CONVERTIBLE. I CAN
TELL YOU THIS CAR IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. IT WAS RESTORED 8
YEARS AGO AND NO EXPENSE WAS SPARED. IT IS A GS-X CLONE AND A
REALLY GOOD ONE AS WELL. IT IS POWERED BY A BUILT 455CI ENGINE. THE
ENGINE WAS COMPLETLEY REBUILT. IT HAS A MID TO LARGE CAM, SOLID
LIFTERS AND ROCKER ROLLERS. I AM TELLING YOU THIS IS A REALLY
STRONG CAR. ALSO, HOLLY SUPER SNIPER FUEL INJECTION WITH THROTTLE
BODY HAS ALSO BEEN ADDED. AN ALUMMINUM RADIATOR WAS INSTALLED AND
IT KEEPS THE CAR COOL AT ALL TEMPERATURES. THE INTAKE IS A BUICK
PHASE 1. THE ENGINE STAMP IN THE BACK IS 455241735. THERE ARE NO
ISSUES WITH ENGINE AND IT STARTS EVERYTIME. THE TRANSMISSION IS A
TURBO 400. I WAS TOLD IT WAS REBUILT AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ISSUES
WITH IT. IT IS ATTACHED TO A HURST RATCHED SHIFTER. THE ARE SHORTY
HEADERS AND I CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW GOOD THIS CAR SOUNDS. THE CAR
STOPS VERY WELL AND IF YOU REFER TO THE PICTURES YOU WILL SEE THAT
A LARGE BRAKE VACUUM CANISTER HAS BEEN ADDED AS WELL. INSIDE THE
CAR THERE IS ALSO A HOLLY SNIPER EFI DISPLAY AND HANDHELD
CONTROLLER INSTALLED. IT WORKS AS IT SHOULD. RIGHT BELOW THE DASH A
GAUGE CLUSTER WAS ADDED. THE GAUGES INCLUDE A GAS GAUGE, OIL
PRESSURE GAUGE, WATER TEMP GAUGE, VOLTAGE GAUGE AND A TRANS. TEMP.
GAUGE. ALL OF THESE GAUGE'S WORK AND ARE ACURATE. SEE THE PHOTOS AS
THEY ARE SHOWN. THE FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION HAS BEEN COMPLETLEY
REDONE. TO COMPENSATE FOR THE EXTRA HORSEPOWER AND WEIGHT, FRONT
AND REAR TUBULAR SUSPENSION HAS BEEN ADDED. LIKE I STATED BEFORE NO
EXPENSE HAS BEEN SPARED. IN ADDITION, ALL THE BUSHINGS WERE ALSO
REPLACED. THIS CAR IS NOT SET UP TO RUN UP AND DOWN THE INTERSTATE
ALL DAY. THE REAR HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO A 4.10 GEAR RATIO. IT IS
ALSO POSSI TRACTION. THE WHEELS ARE NEW AS WELL AS THE TIRES. THIS
WAS DONE 6 MONTHS AGO. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. THE CAR WAS RESTORED 8
YEARS AGO. WHILE THE EXTERIOR IS REALLY NICE IT IS NOT PERFECT.
THERE ARE SOME CHIPS HERE AND THERE. THERE ARE ALSO SOME SCRATCHES
AS WELL. THESE ARE EASY FIXES. THE ONLY REAL NEGITIVE WITH THE
ENTIRE CAR IS THE REAR QUARTERS SHOULD BE REDONE. THERE IS SOME
BUBBLING AND SOME BODY WORK SHOWING IN THE REAR QUARTERS. THE REST
OF THE BODY IS GREAT. THERE ARE NO DENTS AND ITS ALL COMPLETE. THE
CHROME BUMPERS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION AND THERE IS VERY LITTLE AGE
SHOWING. THE FRONT HOOD IS FROM A GS-X AND THE RPM GAUGE WILL WORK
IF YOU DESIRE, AS THE RPM'S ARE CURRENTLY CONNECTED TO THE SNIPER
DISPLAY INSIDE THE CAR. THE CAR WAS ORIGINALLY A GREEN CAR AND
THAND BODY WORK WAS DONE BY A PROFESSIOAL SHOP AT THE TIME. THE CAR
WAS DISMANTLED AND DONE TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD. THE COVERTABLE TOP
WAS REPLACED JUST A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND ITS PERFECT. IT WAS
REPLACED WITH A CLOTH TOP NOT THE CHEAP VINYL TOP. THE REAT WINDOW
IS GLASS AND IS SPOTLESS. THE POWER TOP OPERATES WITH EASE. IT
OPERATES WITH IT'S ORIGINAL FACTORY SWITCH. THE INTERIOR WAS
OBVIOUSLY REDONE AT THE TIME THE CAR WAS RESTORED. IT IS NOTHING
SHORT OF AMAZING. THE CAR WAS BORN WITH A BROWN INTERIOR AND IT DID
HAVE THE BUCKET SEAT OPTION. THE INTERIOR WAS COMPLETLEY REDONE
NOTHING WAS NOT TOUCHED. THE SEATS, DOOR PANELS, KICK PANELS AND
SIDE PANELS ARE WHITE AND NEAR PERFECT. THE CARPET WAS ALSO REDONE
AND HAS HELD UP VERY WELL. THE DASH MAY HAVE BEEN REDONE, NOT
REALLY SURE, BUT THERE ARE NO TEARS OR CRACKS IN IT. ALL THE GAGES
LOOK GREAT AND THE SPEDO AND ODOMETER WORK. Please Note The
