Vehicle Description
This 1988 Chevrolet Blazer K5 4x4 Silverado is attractive because
the exterior shows a little extra flair, and the interior gives you
plenty of comfort, including A/C. But what really makes this an
awesome classic SUV is the upgrade to a 440+ horsepower stroker V8
that gives you more muscle for the streets and trail.
The white paint has a modern luster and deep gloss that lets the
sunlight show off the straight body panels and even gaps. Plus, the
blue pinstripes are perfectly placed to draw added attention to the
crisp crease of the sheet metal. The color-matched removable
hardtop is also a nice detail to go with the premium presentation.
And as a premium Silverado, that's clean and bright trim to go with
the chrome bumpers. But as you look over the radiant style, it also
starts to tell you about this Chevy's power. The bright billet
grille and large bumper overriders give a more aggressive tone, and
so do the large polished exhaust tips. And the bright Outlaw
II-style alloys draw added attention to the tall 4x4 stance.
The blue pinstripe is a preview of the full blue interior. It has a
tasteful look with a condition that reminds you how much care and
investment goes into a well-presented classic. It's loaded with all
the best features, including power windows, power locks, cruise
control, an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth, and
cold-blowing air conditioning. This is built to be long-haul
comfortable for the driver, and so you have a high-back bucket
seat, comfy velour upholstery, a center console, a tilt steering
column, and a wraparound gauge panel. Behind you is plenty of room
for people and cargo. There's even a proper trailer hitch in case
you need to carry more or tow a boat.
The engine bay has a clean and tidy presentation that shows this is
quite a fresh installation. This is a 383 cubic-inch stroker motor
V8 from the masters at BluePrint. It was built right with aluminum
Heads, an aluminum intake, and topped with a Holley four-barrel
carburetor. Plus, the long tube headers add power while
contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust and Flowmaster
mufflers. The full power package peaks at 446 horsepower, and we
have the dyno sheet to prove it! This was done in 2019, and so
while we don't know if the odometer reflects the actual mileage,
you do know you have a fresh and powerful heart. There are even the
right supporting components, like an HEI ignition and a big
aluminum radiator. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case and BF Goodrich
All-Terrain tires make this a capable off-roader. But the power
steering, power brakes, front discs, and a four-speed automatic
transmission is also right for those who want a distinct and
powerful way to go open-top cruising.
The sale comes complete with build receipts and a dyno sheet. This
K5 Blazer is the cool classic 4x4 that's built to be impressive on
or off-road. So if you want power and poise, call today!
