Vehicle Description
The 2010 Ford Mustang Roush 427R is a rare specialty speed machine.
It's a low-mileage midnight hero with excellent documentation and a
supercharged V8. It makes for the kind of car you want to both
collect and drive, which makes for a terrific classic - especially
at this obtainable price.
The retro-style generation of the Mustang is a great-looking car,
but for some folks, it lacks the right attitude. Jack Roush and his
guys correct that issue with an aggressive and aerodynamic body
kit. It includes a new front fascia with more flair, a deep front
chin spoiler, rocker panel moldings, slotted quarter glass, and a
distinct three-piece spoiler that hugs the rear deck end-to-end.
The black paint is factory-correct, and it remains glossy and
attractive today. In fact, the overall appearance strikes the right
balance where it's still a driver's car, but with the low mileage
and included car cover, you know this one has been respected. The
aggressive red racing stripes are an artful touch as they highlight
the power bulge on the hood, and the sides carry the Roush hallmark
design. It really is a detail-oriented performance package, from
the integrated driving lights up front, to the upgraded 20-inch
polished alloys. And it's all about what makes a Roush car both
distinctive and sporty.
The dark and aggressive style continues inside, but when you sit
down in the power-adjusting leather bucket seats, you also get the
feeling of premium luxury. As you look across the car, you'll spot
more of the best modern features, like air conditioning, power
windows, power locks, dual airbags, side airbags, keyless
entry/alarm, tilt wheel, and a powerful/premium Shaker AM/FM/CD/XM
stereo. But more than just loaded, this generation gets its
performance feeling quite right. The three-spoke steering wheel is
a leather-wrapped unit with integrated controls for the Sync
system, stereo, and cruise control. Plus, this special coupe has
nice Roush performance atmosphere touches, like the special
white-faced gauges and illuminated door sill. And the optional
leather and suede sport seats with Jack Roush's signature stitched
into the backs make it quite distinct and comfortable.
While this Mustang looks amazing inside and out, it's the full
mechanical upgrade that will make you fall in lust. Ford's
excellent OHC 4.6-liter V8 has been supercharged. Yes, they call it
"Roushcharged" but we can forgive them for that because they really
know how to put a stellar package together. The motor is rated at
435hp/400lb-ft, and it's far more than just bolting a supercharger
onto the hardy V8 (that's why there's an engine builder's plaque
under the hood, and Roush warranties their work like the factory
world.) This kind of power needs the best control. That's why the
package also comes with the optional short-throw shifter for the
five-speed manual transmission. A Roush car also gets an impressive
suspension upgrade that includes front struts, rear shocks, front &
rear springs, front & rear sway bar, and pinion snubbers. Add this
to great driving features like the power steering, super-sticky
ZR-rated tires, and an upgraded four-wheel disc brake setup with
slotted rotors, and you can see how this is truly a great
anytime/anywhere performance machine.
This low-mileage Roush comes with nice paperwork, like the original
window stickers (both Ford and Roush) and the owner's manual
packet. So if you want to get your hands on a true specialized
supercharged speed machine that has been treated with the proper
respect, call today!
