GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1978 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup for your consideration. This well built truck is powered by a swapped 6.2L V8 motor that in a stock configuration produced 380 horsepower. The naturally aspirated motor has had the variable cam timing removed, cylinder cut out deleted, a mild Comp Cam installed, and a professional tune. Power is routed to the thick rear tires through a 6L80 automatic transmission and 10-bolt rear end and 32 spline axle shafts. Additional information regarding the drivetrain includes dual remote actuated exhaust cutouts and engine remote start. Calvert's CalTracs traction bars have been installed in the rear to get the power down.

The exterior of this truck wears a clean coat of Red that is accented by the black DragLite wheels and interior. Installed on the truck is the factory steel box and the selling owner notes that while the truck is lowered, the frame has not been cut. This example is a 2WD short box example with a minitube box and narrow axle. Inside this sweet C-10 the interior has been left largely stock with all gauges working as expected. Between the seats is a fold down center console with cup holders and mounted on the dashboard is a retro-styled AM/FM/Bluetooth radio. This truck does have working air conditioning as well.

The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full-size pickup truck line from 1960 until 2000 in the United States and Canada, from 1964 to 2001 in Brazil, and from 1975 to 1982 in Chile. The first Chevrolet pickup truck was introduced in 1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930. "C" indicated two-wheel drive and "K" indicated four-wheel drive.
