Vehicle Description
Take a look at this! In the showroom now is this 1980 Chevrolet El
Camino, and Coyote Classics is very happy to present it for your
consideration. At first glance, this light pickup may look like any
ordinary El Camino, but under the hood, there's a big surprise
waiting for the driver. A massive 396 C.I. V8 has replaced the
small 267 C.I. V8 that this El Camino originally came with, a
welcome boost of power that could have you burning rubber at every
turn. This El Camino has excellent power delivery and the steering
stays nice and tight, pointing the car in whichever direction the
driver wants to go. The 1980 El Camino started out the 1980s with
little change, keeping to the Malibu's styling with single
rectangular headlights and Malibu grill pattern. As previously
stated, this El Camino has a screaming 396 C.I. V8 breathing
through an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor from the golden era of
performance, free of choking emissions standards that were imposed
on new cars of the day. Torque from that 396 gets to the pavement
via a 3-speed automatic transmission, ensuring that power is quick
and smooth. The exterior features an older show-quality paintjob,
presented in a beautiful brown hue with golden accents. The
interior is absolutely stunning, being customized during
restoration with a tri-tone leather scheme in brown, tan and
reddish-beige. It is also comfortable as well as functional, with
an aftermarket stereo system and air conditioning for added
cruisability. Options on this fantastic El Camino include power
steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, air conditioning, an
aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette stereo system, aftermarket headers, and
a neat-sounding dual exhaust system. The truck rides on some
classic Chevrolet rally wheels on top of some B.F. Goodrich Radial
T/A blackball tires. If you're in the market for a classic truck
that not only hauls the groceries but also hauls ass, then what
we've got here is exactly what you're looking for.
