Vehicle Description
1964 Chevrolet Corvette
Why This Vehicle Is Special
If you want a beautiful Corvette they made songs about, then this
1964 Chevrolet Corvette we have here at Skyway Classics is the 'Lil
Red Corvette you need.
These mid-year convertibles are arguably the best Corvette's ever
made and ours is a body-on restored with the repaint in its #923AA
Riverside Red color combination that is matched on the trim tag. It
currently has a 350 cubic inch small block Chevrolet engine that is
made to look like the period correct engine and backed by a 4-speed
with power steering and both the white new convertible top and the
red painted hard top.
It also has some interesting components, that show its heritage may
be a Fuelly Corvette, on it like the high pressure 80 lbs oil
gauge, a high 6500 RPM tachometer, a heavy-duty rear sway bar, a
correct radiator core support, inner fender well holes for the air
cleaner support and patched holes in the fenders where Fuel
Injection emblems would have been.

Mechanical
Our Corvette currently has a 350 cubic inch small block Chevrolet
engine that is made to look like the period correct engine with its
aluminum Chevrolet script finned valve covers adorned with 365
horse decals, aluminum intake and four-barrel carb, chrome air
cleaner assembly, chrome distributor and ignition shielding, Rams
Horn factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, chrome oil filter tube,
power steering, air conditioning, and all sitting in a top flite
style engine compartment.
That engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and a great
presentation complemented with Fuel Injection correct attributes
such as a high-pressure oil gauge (80lbs), high RPM tachometer,
heavy duty rear sway bar, correct radiator core support, inner
fender well holes for the air cleaner support and patched holes in
the fenders where Fuel Injection emblems would have been.
It sounds great with the dual exhaust system that exits through the
rear valance and rides nicely on the knock-off alloy wheels with
knock-off spinners that are wrapped in white sidewall tires.
Interior
The restored red interior is impeccable shape. The red theme on the
interior continues on the matching door panels, plush red carpets
on the floors insulating the cabin, red dashboard with all the
correct factory gauges and controls, sporty wood steering wheel,
red center console housing the 4-speed on the floor that moves
effortlessly as you change gears, the red center dash with the
clock, and the uniquely positioned vertical radio.
There's a new white convertible top that folds neatly behind the
seats and under the factory cover and also the matching red hardtop
that comes with the sale.
Exterior
Our 1964 has had a body-on restoration and it shows it as it looks
as new as it did, maybe even better, in its correct #923AA
Riverside Red color combination that matched its Trim Tag.
The near perfect paint job is a gorgeous, has been well kept and is
in great condition, and looks exactly like it should on the
open-air roadster.
The chrome and stainless are very nice also, the rocker panel trim
is as beautiful as ever, and the glass is in great shape all
around. This Sting Ray has tons of curb appeal to go along with its
pedigree.
