Up for sale here at Skyway Classics is a 1946 Chevrolet Custom
Coupe Street Rod that has been restored and modified with a late
model drivetrain.
This car is an all-steel body that spent most of its life in the
state of Arkansas. The restoration was completed approximately 15
years ago and has been kept in heated storage and impeccably
maintained since.

Our 46 doesn't have the tired old factory original 216 cubic inch
engine and 3 on the tree tranny. It now has a Chevy 355 Cubic inch
modified V8 engine, Holley carb, turbo 350 automatic transmission
with shift kit and 2500 stall converter, Posi rear end with 3.73
gears, Heights slider springs, front and rear torsion bars Mustang
II front end, aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes, and
Weld Racing forged aluminum wheels with fat black sidewall
tires.
Mechanically, this car is a blast to drive, well behaved in
traffic, smooth on the highway and with an estimated 375
horsepower, it is no slouch on the street.
The engine has plenty of power and has finned aluminum valve covers
and matching open air cleaner, and puts out a great sound through
tube headers and a dual exhaust into chrome tips.
Interior
The interior has black high-back bucket seats with a center
console, great carpet, door panels, headliner and it is extremely
comfortable.
Other highlights include the console shift, Faria gauge package,
Jensen stereo with cassette, tilt column, Grant GT steering wheel,
uncut dash utilizes mostly original looking components and it has a
custom AM/FM/ stereo sound system to play any tunes you might
like.
Exterior
Our 46 has a custom two-tone silver and red metallic paint that is
nice looking and attention getting as it flows nicely over the big
rounded front and rear bumpers with the great bodylines and amazing
big car look.
You can't come close to building it for the price offered here as
it has shaved door handles, a smoothed body, painted dual side
mirrors, and side step boards.
