85,787 original miles. Loaded with options including 5.8 liter V8,
A/C, power windows and locks, and more. Desirable 4x4 extended cab.
Recently serviced with new brakes, fluids, tires, and more. A
handsome truck that fits in wherever it goes. These square-jawed
F-Series trucks are the ones that built the legend. Selling in
record numbers, they firmly established Ford trucks as the ones to
beat. And it's easy to understand why-it looks good, works hard,
and remains comfortable enough to drive every day. So if you were
there, you know why we like this 1994 F150 4x4 so much. It gets
everything right. First, black paint looks flat-out awesome on
these trucks. It will never look dated like so many colors from the
mid-90s and black always gives pickup trucks an extra bit of
presence. As west coast truck (it was originally delivered to
British Columbia, up in the Pacific Northwest) it has never seen
harsh rust belt winters and remains extremely clean throughout. We
believe that's original paint, and you can see in photos that it's
just beautifully preserved, especially now that it's approaching
its 30th birthday. Gaps are factory-correct, the doors close with
proper solidity, and even the bed doesn't show much evidence of
working hard. There's a heavy-duty bed mat back there just in case
you do want to put it to work, and a roll-up tonneau cover secures
your gear and keeps it out of the elements. And as an XLT, it has
plenty of chrome, including bright bumpers and grille, so it looks
well dressed. Add in a red pinstripe and you get a very attractive
pickup! The Opal Gray cloth interior is built for luxury that was
only just starting to appear in pickups in the early '90s. Twin
captain's chairs flank a wide storage console and remain
comfortable enough for long drives and daily use. The upholstery is
in excellent shape with no rips or split seams and the original
carpets are protected by heavy-duty rubber floor mats. The options
list on this XLT is extensive, and includes power windows, locks,
and mirrors, power lumbar support, cruise control, tilt steering
column, full gauges, A/C, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo system that
still sounds decent. You'll note there's a switch next to the
headlight knob for switching between the dual fuel tanks, giving
this F150 the kind of range usually reserved for airplanes-you'll
need to stop before it does! There's also a sliding rear window
that provides draft-free ventilation for those days when you don't
quite need the A/C, which works just fine. Someone obviously took
great care of this pickup.Power comes from the optional 5.8-liter
V8 (that's a 351 Windsor to you old school guys). With Ford's
awesome engine management system, it starts instantly, idles
properly, and drives beautifully with plenty of low-end torque to
get big stuff moved without effort. Despite the many upgrades
typically available for these engines (it's a cousin to the
Mustang's 5.0, after all) this one remains 100% stock, from the air
filter to the exhaust manifolds. That means OEM reliability and it
is still easy to service with plentiful parts availability. You can
also tell that it hasn't been subjected to harsh winters, as all
the aluminum and cad plated parts are still bright, not chalky, and
factory hardware is present throughout. Service parts like belts,
hoses, and plugs have been replaced, so it's mechanically excellent
and ready to go. It's backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission
and 3.55 gears in the axles (well, 3.55s and 3.54s if you want to
be picky) so it's a fantastic highway cruiser with ride quality
that's actually quite good for a 4x4 pickup. And speaking of 4x4,
the system works correctly and features new front auto-locking
hubs. You can see just how clean this truck is by looking around
underneath, with spotless floors and factory gray primer visible
throughout-no undercoating, no rust, no salt damage, just clean OEM
sheetmetal. It has been treated to a coat of protective oil film to
keep it sealed up, but this truck has nothing to hide. The front
brakes, master cylinder, and ABS unit have been recently replaced
and it sits on original aluminum wheels and beefy 31x10.50-15
off-road radials that give it an awesome 4-wheel-drive
look.Documentation includes original manuals and books, plus a
Deluxe Marti Report.Beautifully preserved, never used for heavy
labor, and recently serviced, this F150 is ready to enjoy. It has
the right look and the right equipment to be enjoyable to drive, no
matter how you use it. These trucks are starting to become
collectable, so you can take it to shows while still putting it to
work on weekends-there's still no better tool in your toolbox than
a full-sized pickup truck. Call today!Harwood Motors always
