Vehicle Description
One might look at our client's original 1959 Buick LeSabre
convertible and wonder why it's being listed on a motorsports
website. It's not a piston popping hot rod or musclecar. It's not a
European exotic with a sweet-sounding exhaust. What it is, is cool.
Not only is this LeSabre cool but rare too! How rare you might ask,
how about 1 of 3 ordered in this beautiful color combination and 1
of 2 convertibles with a 3-speed on the column! Her 364ci/2bbl
motor, manual transmission and rear end are all original and have
only 35K pampered miles on them. The interior is original as is the
convertible top and window! Everything on the car works! All the
body gaps are factory correct, and the doors, trunk, and hood open
and close the way they should. The brightwork is excellent, the
motor runs like a top and shifts without issue. The car drives
great & tracks true. It received one repaint about 20 years ago,
but you would swear it's fresh as it looks that good in person!
This is one beautiful cruiser that you can fit the whole family in,
and we do mean the whole family! It's not often that you'll see a
car of this age so original and clean like this one. It would be a
sure conversation starter at any show, or a neat centerpiece in any
collection. The car is located just outside of the Chicago
metropolitan area in a climate-controlled garage. Reasonable offers
will be considered. Due to file size, videos of the car are
available on request ...
