SHELBY GT designed & built by Carroll Shelby in Las Vegas Nevada. Keeping true to the classics design cues from 1966 GT350. The Shelby design from the Le Mans stripes, aluminum grille, all business hood scoop, and five-spoke alloy wheels the 2007 is the first true Shelby in Four-DECADES.

In 2007 a partnership was made between FORD and Shelby Automobiles facility. Ford shipped from Flat Rock, Michigan, assembly plant to Shelby facility in Las Vegas Nevada. The black Shelby GTs only came with a distinctive 18-inch black wheels and lower-profile tires. The performance package by Ford Racing Powerpack, consisting of a 90mm cold-air intake system and more aggressive calibration of the engine management system, Ford Racing performance mufflers with X-pipe ( gives a wonderful subwoofer deep growl), plus complete powertrain mods. The package at 319 horses and 300 pound-feet of torque gets consistent 0-to-60 in five seconds flat!

The ride has also gotten the Shelby treatment with new struts and shocks which lower the ride height by 1.5 inches. Stiffer anti-roll bars for body control for flatter cornering. Race proven twin-tube strut tower to increase chassis rigidity and sharpens steering response. These are Ford Racing factory developed, and warranted by Ford. The entire rear-end is swapped for a new unit carrying a 3:55.1 diff ratio. The stouter rear gear gives harder launches. The GT has a five-speed manual with a stubby HURST shifter wearing a white shift knob has a precision snap from gear to gear. The GTs traction control can be switched on or off. The synthesized acceleration, braking, and handling performance is no less than mouth-watering to any performance driver.

GT has a factory aluminum hood fitted with a riveted-on hood scoop. Aluminum grille, individual Shelby letters on the decklid, and front fenders have "Powered by Ford." All GT's have black interiors with Shelby GT floor mats, and aluminum number plate on the I.P. officially produced by Shelby Automobiles and its Shelby serial number. The evolutionary hardware changes by Shelby and Ford have made are right on! The GT carries legit Shelby cachet and more tangible content, performance improvement makes an important Carrol Shelby collectible.

This Shelby has only 2532 miles, One owner, original window sticker, Shelby Automobiles window sticker, factory protective covers are still in place. The unused floor mats come with original wrapping, all documentation of purchase and Shelby Automobiles facility. The 2007 being the first year for the true Shelby in over Four-Decades is a rear and highly collectable investment.
