For Sale: 1984 GMC 1500 in Concord, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

This 1984 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 has an excellent dark style, proper V8 power, and plenty of desirable options - including A/C. It makes for a functional long-bed truck that's also an easy classic cruiser.

We know you love how this truck looks. The black paint has a glossy finish giving this GMC a touch of upper-class style. It goes well with the billet grille, bright chrome bumpers, bright Rally wheels, and stainless tailgate insert for an overall premium appearance. Even the hood ornament proves that the little things look nice on this one. Being pretty doesn't make this any less of a practical pickup, but having such crisply presented sheet metal makes it a nicer classic. So this one is still useful, but we'd certainly suggest getting a liner if you're thinking about utilizing the ultra-clean long bed for actual duty.

The interior keeps this one feeling like a comfortable cruiser. So while it's unknown if the odometer reflects the full mileage, you also can see it erases and age with fresher fundamentals like well-done door panels, carpeting, and comfy velour seat covers. There are nice factory features, like power windows, power locks, an AM/FM stereo, and cruise control. And there are handy additions like tinted glass and the moveable armrest center console. There's a nice classic truck feeling when you open the side vent windows and rear glass to get breezes flowing through the cab. And whenever that's not enough, there's also cold-blowing air conditioning.

Under the hood is a tidy-looking small block. We're told this 305 cubic-inch V8 is an HO version that is a rebuilt Jasper crate motor. While unconfirmed, it has a strong-running nature that suggests the proper care and investment. The V8 inhales deeply with the four-barrel carburetor, and the dual exhaust has that ideal low and dignified tone. Plus, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern Michelin tires all make for a solid driving package.

This is the vintage GMC truck that's loaded and strong to remain appealing in today's world. It makes for a classic with nearly daily driver appeal. Call now!
