Mechanics

Under the hood of our Falcon sits a 170 cubic inch inline-six that is a good engine for this lightweight Falcon, with plenty of power for around town and good fuel economy. It looks correctly detailed with the blue paint on the block, valve cover, and correct factory air cleaner assembly.

It is sitting in a very clean and detailed all-black engine bay with an automatic transmission behind it and a single exhaust system for a period-correct six-cylinder grumble and the Falcon's lightweight nature combine to make terrific classic convertible driving experience.

It rides on stock steel wheels with wire wheel type hubcaps and whitewalls that really dress up the Falcon and the blue painted rear wheel covers finish the look.

Interior

The blue cloth split bench seat interior looks as good or better as when it was ordered originally and it has the matching rear seat, the blue carpets are the correct texture and pile so they look right, the instrument panel and steering wheel are in great shape, the factory AM radio is still in the dash, the door panels are beautifully done, and the trunk is nicely outfitted with a plaid mat and a full-sized spare tire with cover.

Exterior

This Falcon has been kept in great condition and had some restoration and has a great dark blue paint job on it showing off the hood scoop, stylish fenders, and rear wheel well covers, and is accented by the spear-like full-length side trim, and the blue folding convertible top that matches the exterior.

This very nice Falcon sits on white sidewall tires and wire wheel covers with spinners, and exhaust exits thru the exhaust system which makes it sound great too.
