For Sale: 1962 Chrysler Imperial in Cadillac, Michigan

1962 Imperial LeBaron coachwork 413 engine, push button AT, AC, 1 of 1449 built. Runs good, currently on the road. Amateur restoration done past 8 yrs. and kept under carport. Needs some int. work, exhaust and fuel tank replaced and some trim put back on but have the pieces. I helped service this car in the '70s. Previous owner, a truck driver, bought it for his wife at an auction in North Carolina in 1968 and told me it belonged to the Cannon Towel Co. and was chauffeur-driven. It appears to be the car Charles Albert Cannon, a textiles marketer, civic leader and health care benefactor, of Concord and Cabarrus, NC, apparently bought it new when he retired as president from Cannon Mills in 1962.
