Vehicle Description
1962 Imperial LeBaron coachwork 413 engine, push button AT, AC, 1
of 1449 built. Runs good, currently on the road. Amateur
restoration done past 8 yrs. and kept under carport. Needs some
int. work, exhaust and fuel tank replaced and some trim put back on
but have the pieces. I helped service this car in the '70s.
Previous owner, a truck driver, bought it for his wife at an
auction in North Carolina in 1968 and told me it belonged to the
Cannon Towel Co. and was chauffeur-driven. It appears to be the car
Charles Albert Cannon, a textiles marketer, civic leader and health
care benefactor, of Concord and Cabarrus, NC, apparently bought it
new when he retired as president from Cannon Mills in 1962. This
car has been in our family since 1985 Please Note The Following
