This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette celebrates some of the best of the
classic Vettes in a cool cruising package. After all, you have the
fuel-injected numbers-matching V8, overdrive transmission, upgraded
stereo, an attractive color combo, terrific paperwork, and much
more!
This was the final year for the C3 Corvette, and so this one had
evolved into quite a sporty design. The color-matched bumpers,
wider fender flares, integrated rear spoiler, full cowl hood, and
rounder silhouette were all straight from the factory. Plus, this
one has its own added distinction with the quad exhaust tips, and
the Rally wheels pay tribute to the earlier days of the C3. The
white paint has a nice sense of style that has a good gloss to make
for an attractive but driver-quality appearance. So you have a true
classic that's truly easy to enjoy.
The red interior is part of the factory-correct color package. It
remains quite stock while also being quite attractive, and so
you'll love taking out the T-tops to showcase the full style. The
last of the C3s liked to be a luxury car, and so this one was
optioned correctly. This includes leather upholstery, a power
driver's seat, power windows, power locks, an electric rear
defogger, a tilt/telescopic steering column, and provisions for air
conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) And since
you'll want to go driving everywhere in this classic, there's an
upgraded retro-style AM/FM stereo that also lets you kink your
phone's music via Bluetooth.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching motor. This is important
because this was the first year the Corvette offered fuel injection
for everyone, and they haven't looked back since. This original
motor has been well-maintained, including a newer Griffin aluminum
radiator. So it fires up readily and runs strong for an overall
solid cruiser. Part of this easy driving attitude also comes from
the debut of the four-speed automatic transmission with
highway-friendly overdrive. There's even a fully independent
suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes.
The sale comes complete with terrific paperwork that includes the
original bill of sale, window sticker, warranty card, owner's
manual, service manuals, and maintenance records. This Corvette
gives you the right classic look to celebrate the last of the C3s,
and there are also the right upgrades to be a terrific vintage
cruiser. Call today!!!
