Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS454 is a real-deal Super Sport that
has upgraded big block power, extra-sleek paint, and an awesome
muscle car presence. It's the kind of hardtop that's always the
envy of everyone even if all they see are the tail lights.
A bold red always looks good on a Chevelle hardtop. You'll love how
there's a deep luster and slick finish that comes from a quality
application later. And they also took care of the details with
clean glass and nice brightwork trim - including those big
wraparound chrome bumpers. A real deal super sport is also about
the performance style. Those Rally wheels have a wider rear set to
give this aggressive stance you want. Plus, the darker SS grille
and vent trim hood help put a meaner face forward. There are more
aggressive factory SS pieces, like the ribbed rocker panels,
correct badging, blackout rear panel, racing flags on the front
fenders, and wide exhaust tips coming out of the rear. It makes for
the kind of overall impression where it looks like time and care
were the priority in the restoration rather than the cost.
Black interiors always look stylish against red exteriors. The
upholstery, headliner, door panels, and dash have a deep dark look
of a solid investment. It has a true vintage style, right down to
the wood-like trim. The upgrades are well integrated, like the
AM/FM/cassette stereo, and provisions for air conditioning (it will
need servicing to blow cold again.) But what really makes this
terrific is how it's got the best pieces for a driver's classic.
You have bucket seats up front, a center console with upgraded
tach, an auxiliary gauge trio, and an upgraded Chevy steering wheel
on a tilt column. It all gives you the proper performance tingle
even before you twist the key and hear the big block roar.
The engine bay has a high-polished finish that continues to show
everyone that there has been an investment in quality. And the
extra-tidy setup means you'll proudly lift the hood wherever you
park this coupe. But more than just look good, you'll love this
because it was built for serious power. It's a 454 cubic-inch big
block done with the best go-fast goodies. This includes Edelbrock
aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, a performance cam, and topped
with a Demon four-barrel carburetor. And the powder-coated headers
add even more power while feeding the dual exhaust and Flowmaster
mufflers. This also has quality supporting components, like an MSD
ignition, an MSD distributor, steel-braided lines with AN fittings,
and a large aluminum radiator. It makes for a strong powerhouse,
and the way it eagerly fires up shows it's ready for as much fun as
you are. In fact, there are nice upgrades like a stout TH400
three-speed automatic transmission, an aluminum driveshaft, and
12-bolt rear to really help you get the power to the pavement.
Plus, power steering, power brakes, front discs, upgraded rear
arms, and sway bars front and rear all make for a solid
cruiser.
This is a bright red Super Sport with the right upgrades for
serious style and substance. It makes for an outstanding Chevelle
you need to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
